Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Director to lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand growth, customer engagement, and revenue. The Marketing Director will oversee a marketing team that includes product managers, product development, artist relations, event marketing, art/advertising, and social media teams as well as collaborating closely with the Sales and Purchasing Departments to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive B2B and B2C marketing strategies to support business objectives, including brand positioning, product launches, digital marketing, and customer retention.
- Oversee PR and content creation and the execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, web, events, and print.
- Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering creativity, innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve ROI targets.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify price strategy and product development opportunities and inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives and support lead generation and conversion.
- Partner with product development teams to create effective go-to-market strategies and promotional materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with external agencies, media partners, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, using analytics tools to measure success and recommend improvements.
- Interface with Pearl’s global marketing team to unify and coordinate global initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- You must have hands-on creative and art direction experience. Strong emphasis is placed on a design background, clever copy writing and video scripting. Include examples.
- Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth and engagement.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques, including SEO, SEM, social media, and analytics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day operations.
- Experience in the music industry or familiarity with musical instruments is a plus.
- Proficiency with marketing and design software and tools (e.g., CRM, email marketing platforms, analytics tools).
- Creative mindset with a strong attention to detail and results-oriented approach.
