Primary Purpose
Organize, develop, and administer the JROTC Program as an integral part of the school’s curriculum.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Possess the qualification prescribed by Army regulations to be certified as a JROTC instructor.
Must satisfy educational development courses as directed by TRADOC Supplement 1 to AR 145-2
Experience
Officer in the United States Army
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors
Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals
Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Motion: Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching
Lifting: Lifting and carrying heavy equipment 45 lbs. or more; work outside as weather permits; frequent prolonged and irregular hours.
Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours; occasional districtwide travel
Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress
