We are seeking an Itinerant Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing population in a school district to start immediately! This Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher position will develop, implement, and coordinate individualized education programs for students enrolled in Special Education programs near the vicinity of Hampshire, IL area. - DHH Teacher position is a full-time, 35 hours a week.
- Start is ASAP, and will end in May 2025
- 7 hours per day / 35 hours per week; full time; M-F
- DHH teacher will service and travel between schools within district
- Servicing Elementary, Middle and High School campuses dependent upon the campus
- Sign language is not required, but a knowledge of Deaf Education is recommended.
Qualifications : Teacher, Infant & Itinerant DHH (Deaf & Hard of Hearing)Education Specialist Instruction Credentials – Deaf & Hard of Hearing OR Ryan Service Credential – Communication Handicapped OR Standard Teaching Credential – Minor – Deaf & Severely Hard-of-Hearing in the state of Illinois.
