Pediatric Nurse
Busy pediatric office with two locations, Wilbraham and Belchertown, looking for an experienced pediatric triage/floor nurse, RN or LPN, to join our amazing and dedicated team. Our mission is to provide excellent quality pediatric medical care to infants, children and teenagers in a safe and nurturing environment.
Nurse Responsibilities:
- Answer triage phone calls per office policy using nursing critical thinking skills
- Chart using EPIC electronic medical record system
- Book appointments for patients for same day sick appointments and consults
- Administer medications and vaccines to patients
- Medical prior authorizations and forms completion
- Rooming patients and providing floor coverage when needed
Nurse Qualifications:
- RN or LPN with valid MA license
- Minimum 1 year pediatric nursing experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
- Flexible schedule / ability to work early mornings and/or late evenings if needed as well as weekend mornings
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
