Description
Job Purpose: Oversees the processing and registration of incoming patient referrals to our health care facility. The intake coordinator makes sure that all required patient information is received/processed and that appointments are made with the proper medical personnel. The intake coordinator is also often tasked with clerical duties such as managing paperwork, handling data entry, and engaging with patients over the phone.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Represents the company in a professional manner
- Promotes products and services offered by the company to all patients
- Data entry
- Responsible for keeping patient records updated
- Clerical duties that include filing, copying, emailing and faxing
- Collecting co-pays
- Scheduling telemedicine consultation appointments
- Answering incoming calls and responding to questions to explain our process
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and problem resolution skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products; Excel and Word
- Outstanding organization skills
- Experienced in sales
- This position may require evenings
- Bi-lingual candidate preferred
