Job Description
The Accounting Clerk will provide assistance to all Accounting and Corporate Departments and is
expected to be trained in most Payables and Receivables processes and procedures.
This position will serve as backup in the absence of AP/AR Administrators and payroll
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Accounting
- Enters vendor/consultant invoices in the accounting software. Deltek software is required
- Prepares and processes sales invoices in Web Apps; submits into client portals, if necessary.
- Create and update spreadsheets as needed.
- Assist vendors, clients, and company employees.
- Assist AP/AR Administrators with daily duties such as bank reconciliation, data verification and
- misc. projects.
2. Administration
- Project file maintenance.
- Perform clerical duties as needed such as handling mail, copying and other administrative and
- accounting duties.
- Expense reconciliation.
- Keep all corporate files up-to-date and retrieving records when requested.
- Act as a reference point for fellow co-workers with usage of the project/time tracking software.
- Assist to ensure all payroll records are accurate and timely

Qualifications
The Accounting Clerk must possess a professional attitude, strong analytical and organizational
skills, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact well with others. This
position also requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PDF software, and accounting
software. Additionally, a working knowledge of general accounting principles is required.
Skills
- Computer literacy and strong typing skills.
- Proficient with Excel and other MS Office Suite of products
- Familiar with PDF software (Adobe)
- Accounting experience required
- Experience with Deltek software required
