Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Assistant to join our reputable orthodontic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care within a clinical setting, display a welcoming and team-minded personality, and offer compassionate and tender care to our patients. Clinical assistants in our office run individual columns and perform various procedures such as bondings, debonds, digital scans, routine adjustments and retainer checks. Our office provides both traditional metal braces as well as Invisalign, and a working knowledge of both is required.
Duties
- Assist our orthodontist and other clinical team members in delivering patient care, ensuring comfort and safety for all patients.
- Greet and seat patients with the friendly demeanor our practice is known for
- Maintain high levels of sanitization of stations and equipment
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate patient records as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication regarding patient needs and treatment plans.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas to promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Take x-rays and digital scans
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills
- Assist in occasionally answering phones and following up with patient care calls
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental, but preferably orthodontic office required
- Active dental assistant license required
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a focus on individual responsibilities related to patient support

Office Dynamics
- Full and Part-time opportunities available
- Traditional hours: 3-4 days a week (no weekends)
- Hours for full time: 7:30 am to 5 pm
- Hours for part time: 12:30 pm to 5 pm
