What are the responsibilities and job description for the 7-8 Grade Math Interventionist position at Pen Argyl Area School District?
Wind Gap Middle School, Pen Argyl School District, is looking for a talented teacher to fulfill a position as a 7-8 grade Math Interventionist in our school for the 2025-2026 school year. Our students deserve the best, so we are looking for an individual who has a solid understanding of the content and engaging pedagogical approaches, a high drive to foster student success, and knowledge of best practices to meet the diverse needs of seventh and eighth grade students. We value hard working individuals who are willing to be leaders in instruction and part of a team approach to learning within a middle school.
Applicants must hold a Mathematics 7-12 (Middle School Math) certificate. Salary will be in accordance with the current teacher salary schedule.
All application materials must be submitted in PA REAP no later than April 2, 2025.
Applicants must upload the Pennsylvania Standard Teaching Application, letter of interest, resume, copy of PA teaching certificate, college transcripts, three letters of recommendation, and the following forms current within one year: Act 34 (PA Criminal History), Act 151 (PA Child Abuse History), Act 114 (FBI Fingerprint Check) and Act 82 form. Additional paperwork will be required prior to/upon hire, including but not limited to PA School Health Record with TB test, Act 168 (Disclosure for current and previous employers), and I-9.
