About the company: Our client is a growing outpatient mental health practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They believe very strongly in the importance of having a safe place to heal from emotional trauma, and in providing high quality, evidence-based treatment. They offer a variety of mental health services including medication management and interventional treatments for PTSD, depression, and other mental illnesses.
About the Job: They are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join their team in New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have experience with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and a passion for providing high-quality mental health care. This is an in-office position, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide medication management and psychotherapy.
- Administer TMS motor thresholds and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records, billing must match time scheduled with patients.
- Maintain 32 clinical hours a week.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- Valid medical license to practice in New Mexico.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in psychiatry.
- 2 years of practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TMS.
- Experience working in an outpatient or private practice setting.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- 5 years of practice.
