The Product Marketing Manager leads and manages go-to-market strategies for assigned financial products and services and works collaboratively with Product, Data, as well as other cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure achievement of growth objectives. Go-to-Market strategies include traditional and digital marketing initiatives, leveraging numerous marketing technology tools. This role works closely with business unit leaders and leads marketing promotions to achieve objectives. This individual deeply understands the target audience’s everyday challenges and can succinctly explain how PenAir products help solve member problems.

Leads, develops, and executes integrated, multi-channel, go-to-market strategies and campaigns that meet or exceed set objectives, leveraging oine and digital marketing tactics across website, email, mobile, social media, paid digital, SEO, and member banking touchpoints, such as branch, ATM, and online and mobile banking.

Analyzes market trends and demographic data concerning potential members, products, and services. Keeps abreast of changing trends in the marketplace so that the credit union may react quickly. Understands and uses insights to develop product positioning and messaging, driving consistency about how we position our products.

Fosters member engagement and increases wallet share through personalized, automated member journeys and offers. Leverages member insights, behavioral data, and segmentation to design life cycle, event trigger and loyalty programs.

Achieves financial objectives by establishing objectives, developing budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing use of assets. Collaborates with Product, Data, and other cross-functional teams to deliver optimal marketing campaign results tied to company growth goals.

Builds and maintains relationships with external partners, agencies, vendors, and platforms that support product marketing campaigns.

Defines and monitors campaign KPIs to measure the effectiveness of go-to-market efforts, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results. Reports on the effectiveness of marketing efforts to leadership. Ensures supportive/informational materials are available to frontline teams.

Knowledge And SkillsExperience
Eight years to 10 years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.

Knowledge And SkillsExperience

- Minimum of five years’ experience in product-focused marketing
- Industry experience and knowledge of the financial industry
- Strong knowledge of marketing channels, including advertising, direct mail, email, digital, and social
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience developing data-driven, automated personalization campaigns
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRMs
- Experience with and understanding of SEM and SEO Education/Certifications/Licenses Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline.
