Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the trucking and logistics industry.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Understand clients transportation needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to potential clients.
- In collaboration with Pricing, negotiate terms and conditions of agreements to secure profitable deals.
- Close sales and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Monitor and manage client accounts to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess their needs and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Handle customer complaints and provide effective solutions to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to the sales and operations teams based on market insights.
- Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of services.
- Coordinate with the customer service team to address client issues and enhance service quality.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contracts.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field. Experience can be substituted for education.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the trucking or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of trucking operations, transportation services, and logistics solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel as needed.
