AS THE SURGICAL SCHEDULER IN A SPECIALITY CLINIC, You will support the Physician or Advanced Practice Provider to obtain all authorizations for surgery. The Surgical Scheduler will schedule the surgery and prepare all necessary items needed prior to the day of procedure.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivilent required. Associates Degree in related field preferred
- Prior administrative office procedures within a physician office required Knowledge
- & experience in payor authorization requirements required
- CPR Certification through the American Heart Association required within first year of hire
- NHA or NCCT Medical Assistant Certification preferred
