What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager, Procurement Operations & Supplier Risk position at Penta Search Group?
Our client is a global pharmaceutical manufacturer. We are currently hiring for an experienced procurement professional to lead the procurement operations function with an emphasis on supplier risk.
Reporting to the Senior Director Global Procurement, you will :
- Leadership and development of a team of 5 direct reports.
- Develop, improve and roll out Supplier Onboarding and Enablement Strategies for suppliers globally, continuously updating master data, and ensure accurate onboarding of suppliers onto SAP in order to streamline Source to Pay processes.
- Develop a supplier risk management roadmap that supports the initial vetting and continuous monitoring of supplier risk, collaborate with risk owners across the company to streamline and compile risk elements into a centralized view.
- Develop a proactive approach in identification, analysis, documentation and communication of supplier risks to cross-functional stakeholders to ensure stable and efficient supplier governance strategies
- Provide strategy and operational input into the Source to Pay transformation efforts, process and technology solutions.
