Operations Coordinator
Pentalutions is a family-owned business that provides top-notch business to business fulfillment operations, storage and service solutions to our community.
We are seeking a skilled Operations Coordinator to join our team in overseeing the daily operations of our assembly/warehouse teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in team management, planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for efficiently coordinating the inbound and outbound movement of materials, goods, and supplies based on customer needs, inventory targets, and fulfillment schedules.
- Collaborate with other managers to determine supply needs.
- Coordinate receiving and warehouse procedures and personnel.
- Oversee distribution of supplies in the organization.
- Develop and execute inventory cycle count process to assure high inventory accuracies.
- Ensure prompt and accurate updating of the computer systems.
- Report on inventory material usage and efficiency.
- Resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
- Create strategic solutions to improve material flow at multiple levels.
- Deliver/Pickup orders as needed with Company vehicle.
- Perform offsite work on occasion as projects require.
Qualified candidates should possess the following Minimum Requirements:
- 3 years experience in Logistics or a related field
- A strong knowledge of supply chain and inventory management systems
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Analytical thinking with problem solving aptitude.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
- Hi-low driving experience preferred.
- Computer experience with Microsoft Office/Google Office Suite.
- Valid drivers license
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional bending, twisting, reaching.
- Ability to work standing on your feet for extended periods of time as required.
