Perfetti Van Melle (makers of Mentos and Airheads!) is one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of confectionery and chewing gum with global brands that are being enjoyed in more than 150 countries worldwide. We’re currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Financial Reporting & Budget Manager to join our growing team.
- Foster both internal and external customer relations to achieve the Company’s long term strategic plan.
- Work with all cost centers and budget process owners to create annual budget.
- Work with outside support functions to deliver timely reporting system changes and implementations.
- Communication with budget holders on spending adherence.
- Work closely with Accounting Manager to coordinate SAP and reporting change requests.
- Foster the relationship with Corporate Treasury for cash analysis, loans, etc.
- Work with auditors on annual reporting requirements.
- Develop annual budget and financial forecasting performance projections.
- Perform and update cash flow forecasting and overhead projections as required.
- Capable of solving complex system integration issues.
- Provide variance analytics that impact current and long-term objectives.
- Monthly Reporting and variance identification.
- Monthly P&L and B/S estimates.
- Annual Budgeting & Latest estimate development.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 10 years of experience.
- Minimum of 5 years leadership and management experience.
- CPG experience is preferred.
- Strong business and financial acumen. Exceptional financial/business literacy and analytical skills.
- Proven effectiveness managing by influence across all levels of an organization and across
- Functions both internally and externally to the organization.
- Ability to quickly establish credibility and navigate across the organization while engaging
- Others to ensure that the most effective solutions are implemented.
- Effective organizational skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written.
- Strong ability to move between tactical and strategic aspects of business.
- Confidence and success in problem resolution, resourcefulness, and the ability to adjust to changes.
- Knowledge of SAP and Tagetik Software.
- Knowledge of Balance Sheet Analysis.
- Knowledge of Fixed Asset Accounting.
- Complete understanding of how all transactions flow through the income statement and balance sheet.
