What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hourly Construction Driver position at Performance Contracting Group?
PCI is seeking an experienced Hourly Construction Driver for its PCI Atlanta 101 operations based in Kennesaw, GA. This individual will be responsible for the following duties:
Follow DOT and company regulations/safety standards
Inspecting and operating the delivery vehicle
Material and tool delivery to our job sites
Order pulling, truck loading and unloading, packaging, shipping, receiving and material handling.
Maintain and organize all delivery paperwork and deliver it to the proper personnel at the end of each shift.
Operate pallet jack and/or forklift in a safe and responsible manner
Communicate with job site foremen to ensure efficient transportation
Communicate with the superintendent to receive direction on schedule changes
Requirements
CDL License
Must have a current, valid driver’s license and pass PCG’s MVR (motor vehicle report)
Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts a plus.
Some overtime may be required
Candidate should be dependable, hardworking, and an effective communicator
Must be able to perform regular heavy lifting when handling materials.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Prolonged periods standing and working outside.
Physically capable of performing assigned tasks.
Must be able to lift 70 pounds at a time.
