Duties

PCI is seeking an experienced Hourly Construction Driver for its PCI Atlanta 101 operations based in Kennesaw, GA. This individual will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Follow DOT and company regulations/safety standards
  • Inspecting and operating the delivery vehicle
  • Material and tool delivery to our job sites
  • Order pulling, truck loading and unloading, packaging, shipping, receiving and material handling.
  • Maintain and organize all delivery paperwork and deliver it to the proper personnel at the end of each shift.
  • Operate pallet jack and/or forklift in a safe and responsible manner
  • Communicate with job site foremen to ensure efficient transportation
  • Communicate with the superintendent to receive direction on schedule changes

Requirements

  • CDL License
  • Must have a current, valid driver’s license and pass PCG’s MVR (motor vehicle report)
  • Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts a plus.
  • Some overtime may be required
  • Candidate should be dependable, hardworking, and an effective communicator
  • Must be able to perform regular heavy lifting when handling materials.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Prolonged periods standing and working outside.
  • Physically capable of performing assigned tasks.
  • Must be able to lift 70 pounds at a time.
