Business Analyst
The Business Analyst works under the guidance of the Senior Business & Application Analysts and has a solid understanding of specific work streams/operations within the business. This position coordinates with the Solutions Architect, the Business & Applications Analysts, the BI Architect, the Business Managers, and Programming staff to schedule and manage resources for new functionality, systems and other technological platforms required to meet the strategic goals of the business. The Analyst is responsible for drafting functional requirements and working with the technical team to develop the technical requirements documentation and to ensure every change request follows the standard procedure for documentation, testing, user acceptance and completion. Working with the business managers, responsibilities include developing functional requirements and the supporting business case for any new reports and application, or system change requests, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and schedules once defined. The Business Analyst will act as a project manager for their Business Solution projects. This role requires some technical knowledge of business processes and systems, applications and all other tools that support the operations. The Business Analyst will work closely with the business managers to identify areas of inefficiency through business analytics and reporting applications based on key performance indicators that provide tangible business benefits. The Analyst will also focus on analytics to provide the business managers and executive leadership with valuable, relevant business intelligence to build a business case for change. The role will require a solid understanding of the business operations, statistics, the technical aspects of data warehousing and the ability to clearly communicate to senior management.
Compensation is determined based on skills and experience.
