Diesel Equipment Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician Class B to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our medium to heavy-duty diesel equipment fleet.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks, diagnose complex issues, and implement repairs to maintain compliance with safety regulations.
- Equipment Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of trucks, trailers, reefer units, and convertor dollies to identify potential issues and implement repairs as necessary.
- Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to other mechanics to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required; 3-5 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair preferred.
- Skills: Proven ability to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose complex issues, and implement repairs using a range of tools and techniques.
- Certifications/Licenses: Valid driver's license and any relevant certifications (e.g., ASE) may be required.
