Performer's Edge Dance Center Inc is seeking highly motivated, family-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Assistant/Receptionist. This role involves collaborating closely with the owner and teaching staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations at the Dance Center.
Job Type: Part Time
Hours: 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm, Monday- Friday, 8:30 am-1 pm Saturdays
Job duties include:
- Greeting potential clients and describing the classes offered at the Dance Center.
- Communicating with dance teachers and management.
- Managing customer relationships and payments in database.
- Registering New Students and creating customer accounts.
- Managing inquiries and consultations in-person, over the phone, and via email.
- Maintaining clean and efficient studio space.
- Admin/office duties and related tasks as needed.
- Selling dancewear.
- Placing orders for dancewear, office supplies.
- Maintain room scheduling.
- Entering in data for dance competitions.
- You Must:
- Have experience with Microsoft Office products- SharePoint, Excel, Word, Publisher.
- Experience with adobe pdf files.
- Be Friendly and Professional! Great with children!
- Be Organized and Self-Starting! You're able to keep things organized and if you see something that needs to be done, you take care of it proactively.
- Must be able to multitask and have the ability to work unsupervised.
GREAT ADDITIONAL SKILLS: Prior Dance experience.
- Bilingual a plus!!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 β 30 per week
