Position Description:
Our client is seeking an Attorney with 1-5 years of experience to join their insurance coverage litigation group in Morristown, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with insurance coverage or litigation experience who has an interest in working on complex insurance coverage matters.
This thriving practice represents and advises national and international insurers in a broad range of coverage cases across the Unites States, including a wide range of complex insurance coverage matters, principally involving pollution, toxic tort, asbestos, construction defect, products liability, errors and omissions, excess liability, abuse, and molestation work.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and provide coverage advice to clients.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations.
- Prepare and review pleadings, memos, briefs, discovery, motions with supporting briefs, and other legal correspondence.
- Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda.
Education & Experience:
- 1-5 years of insurance experience; preferably in insurance coverage;
- Admitted to practice in New Jersey; additional admissions a plus;
- Experience or interest in working on complex insurance coverage matters;
- Strong academics, communication and writing skills.
