Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership and Supervision: Provide strategic management and oversight of all traditional services. This includes but is not limited to guiding the programs toward achieving its goals, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission, and making decisions that enhance program quality, efficiency, and outcomes. Oversee and support the team to ensure effective execution of program activities. This includes but is not limited to facilitating meaningful supervision, guiding team performance, and enhancing professional development.

Development and Training: Focus on long term growth including both career development and program development. Create opportunities to enhance capabilities, improve performance, improve quality of service delivery, and prepare for future challenges. Identify key areas for growth within teams. Implement structured activities to enhance ability to perform tasks and understand processes.

Program Oversight: Leading the administration of all traditional services, ensuring they align with OPWDD policies and guidelines, as well as with the organization’s mission, vision and goals. Monitor service delivery to ensure it meets a person’s specific needs. Developing and updating operational protocols to improve program efficiency and accessibility.

Financial Oversight: Oversee all financial requests and needs by the department. Ensure billing is maximized by accurately monitoring service utilization, verifying documentation compliance, and optimizing resource allocation to meet program and organizational goals.

Compliance and Policy Development: Ensure compliance with relevant OPWDD regulations and agency policies. Monitor changes in regulations and implement necessary updates to maintain compliance which include assisting with policy development.

Collaboration: Develop and maintain community partnerships this includes overall community outreach, attending external events, and representing PCCS while out in the community.

Advocacy: Advocate for the needs and rights of people supported, ensuring they are receiving adequate services and support.

Reporting: Ensure proper reporting, investigation, and review of all incidents relative to OPWDD Part 624 regulations and the New York State Justice Center.

Professional Development: Complete all mandatory and assigned trainings as needed. Take initiative in asking for support in areas needed for development and enroll in training opportunities to assist with accomplishing professional goals.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

Age Requirement: Minimum age of 18.

Experience:
-
5 years working in OPWDD HCBS Waiver programs, required.

3 years in a director role required/overseeing multiple programs , preferred

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in related field (i.e., Social Work, Mental Health, etc.), preferred.
Salary : $95,000 - $115,000
