Person Directed Supports Inc. Director of Quality Improvment and Risk Management reviews, analyzes and helps mitigate various forms of risk to help protect the welfare, safety and rights of Individuals with Intellectual disabilities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
· Creates/promotes a culture centered on building self directed lives with its people we support.
·Report, Review and analyze incidents.
Review risk factors and determine plans to mitigate incidents.
Maintains ODP’s Certified Investigator Status.
· Oversee and manage Person Directed Supports, Inc., Certified Investigations both Internal and External.
·Enters all investigations into EIM in a timely manner
Review all necessary paperwork for PDSI’s Certified Investigators.
· Travel in Lehigh Valley Area, Lancaster Area, York Area, and Chambersburg Area and other locations as developed.
· Works weekends and holidays if an incident has occurred.
· Chairperson of the Investigators Committee.
· Member of Certified Investigation Peer Review Committee reviewing investigations.
· Understand and comply with all applicable ODP regulations as they pertain to Certified Investigations.
· Ensures all program components are in compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
· Conducts ongoing trainings in Abuse and Neglect, Certified Investigations, etc.
· Abides by established policies and procedures of the agency, county, and state.
· Completes all other assigned tasks by PDSI supervisory staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Two years experience working directly with persons with Intellectual Disabilities.
- PA Investigator License from ODP.
