We’re seeking a talented and passionate AM / Breakfast Manager & Chef de Cuisine to lead all morning and breakfast operations at a brand-new, upscale social club opening soon in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.
This is a rare opportunity to be part of something truly special from the ground up — designing a beautiful and thoughtful breakfast program that will set the tone for the day in an elegant, members-only environment. From a curated à la carte menu to vibrant buffet offerings, your creativity and leadership will help create mornings that members look forward to.
☕ About the Concept
The social club will offer members a refined and welcoming environment with elevated hospitality and attention to detail in every aspect — including breakfast. Your mission: craft and execute a breakfast experience that feels fresh, luxurious, and effortless.
You’ll oversee a small but dedicated early morning team and bring both operational excellence and culinary passion to the table each day.
👨🍳 What You’ll Do
- Lead the execution of all AM and breakfast service, from prep to plate
- Develop seasonal, balanced, and creative breakfast menus (à la carte and buffet-style)
- Build and train a lean, high-performing morning BOH team
- Ensure quality, consistency, and flawless execution during early hours of service
- Manage ordering, inventory, vendor relationships, and morning prep timelines
- Maintain full DOH compliance, safety standards, and kitchen cleanliness
- Work collaboratively with FOH and operations teams to ensure smooth daily transitions into lunch and dinner service
- Create a positive, structured, and motivating kitchen culture rooted in care and professionalism
🌅 What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience as a Sous Chef, CDC, or AM Kitchen Manager
- Experience in upscale breakfast or hotel brunch service highly preferred
- Passion for morning service, elegant plating, and thoughtful ingredient sourcing
- Strong leadership and communication skills — you lead by example
- Highly organized, proactive, and reliable — you thrive on structure and calm early energy
- Knowledge of NYC DOH standards and kitchen best practices
- A desire to be part of something new, elevated, and community-driven
