We’re seeking a dynamic, creative, and hands-on Head Chef / Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary vision for a modern tapas-style bar located inside a brand-new, upscale social club in Midtown Manhattan.

Set inside a stunning new social club, this modern tapas bar will blend elevated shareable plates with an energetic, cosmopolitan atmosphere. The food will be bold yet refined, drawing inspiration from Mediterranean, Latin, and global cuisines — always centered on quality ingredients, thoughtful presentation, and crave-worthy flavor.
As Head Chef, you’ll have the chance to help create a standout culinary identity within a destination venue designed for connection, culture, and unforgettable experiences.
👨🍳 What You’ll Do
- Lead all back-of-house operations for the tapas bar concept, from prep to service
- Collaborate with ownership on menu development, seasonal rollouts, and creative specials
- Build and train a passionate kitchen team from the ground up
- Maintain the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation
- Ensure full compliance with DOH standards, safety protocols, and best kitchen practices
- Manage food cost, inventory, vendor relationships, and kitchen efficiency
- Work closely with the FOH and GM team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
- Create a kitchen culture rooted in integrity, collaboration, and excellence
🌟 What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of experience in a Head Chef or CDC role, preferably in a high-volume, upscale or chef-driven environment
- Strong knowledge and passion for modern tapas, Mediterranean, or globally-inspired small plates
- Proven experience in kitchen leadership, team development, and BOH systems
- A balance of creative flair and operational discipline
- DOH-savvy, organized, and cool under pressure
- A team player who leads with respect, energy, and a hospitality-first mindset
