Job Title: Sales Associate & Content Creator
Reports To: Store Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales Associate & Content Creator to join our team! This dual-role position combines customer engagement and sales expertise with creative content production to enhance our store’s brand presence. Your primary responsibility will be driving sales and ensuring a positive customer experience. Additionally, you will create engaging content, including filming customer pets in-store, to showcase our products and services.

The ideal candidate is passionate about pets, sales, and social media, and has reliable transportation to support occasional shift coverage at other store locations within the Wisconsin market.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales (Primary Role):

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with product selection.
• Meet and exceed sales goals through effective product recommendations and upselling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.

Content Creation (Secondary Role):

• Create and curate engaging content, such as videos and photos, to promote our brand on social media and other platforms.
• Collaborate with customers to film their pets in-store, ensuring a fun and safe experience.
• Work with the home office team to align content with brand guidelines and promotional campaigns.
• Monitor and respond to online customer engagement as needed.

Requirements

Other Responsibilities:

• Travel to other store locations within the Wisconsin market to provide coverage as needed.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and promotional events. 
• Receive shipments, unpack and verify deliveries, rotate stock and ensure accurate processing of inventory.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by organizing stock and conducting scheduled inventory counts.
• Maintain companies visual merchandise standards.
• Prepare ecommerce orders and assist with delivery processes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
• Basic photography and videography skills; familiarity with social media platforms is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for customer engagement.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel within the Wisconsin market.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, or kneel for extended periods of time.
• Ability to climb a ladder, bend, stoop and crouch.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a pet-friendly environment.

Additional Job Requirements:

• Some duties may require work before or after store business hours.
• Comfortable with computers, technology and learning new systems.
• Have accurate cash handling skills.
• Available to work days, nights and weekends.
