Job Responsibilities:
- Delight neighbors and pets with grooming services, such as nail clipping, brushing, bathing, and conditioning
- Be able to answer the phone and book appointments for grooming services
- Ensure the wellness and safety of furry patrons at all times
- Perform routine cleaning to keep the salon fun and inviting
- Available some nights and weekends
Qualifications:
- No experience necessary
- Be able to work a flexible schedule with some evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to follow safety procedures and company handbook
- Be able to move, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time
- Be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
- Dog handling experience a plus
LH Mercantile, LLC is a franchisee of Pet Supplies Plus that currently has 15 locations throughout the Chicago suburbs and Northwest Indiana. We provide curbside pickup, delivery/autoship services as well as self-service dog washes and full-service grooming salons. We offer an array of pet foods, supplies and accessories for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and small animals. However, we’re mostly proud of our knowledgeable team, who love pets and are eager to help pet parents.
