This leading $1B Texas Heavy Highway/Civil General Contractor, specializes in Heavy Highway/DOT and Civil Site Work seeks a Vice President to manager their Heavy Highway/Civil/DOT division You will be an integral part of growing and maturing the company with your construction, estimating and business development capabilities. We expect to double to $2B in the next two years and need your expertise. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in a senior operations management in the Heavy Highway/Civil Construction Industry, with experiences in self-performed excavation, underground utilities, paving and structures. This person must possess excellent people and leadership skills and will be ready to lead a team of dynamic estimating and field operations professionals.

Responsibilities
- Full P&L responsibility for the entire division.
- Manage all operations of the respective division; HHWAY/Public Works/DOT projects.
- Be responsible for complete Estimating oversight, Business Development, Risk Management, Safety Management, Employee Development, Client Management, Sub-Contractor Management, and working with respective clients and agencies.
Qualifications
- Strong, 15 years of experience in senior management roles working in either HHWA/DOT or Private Site Development with an emphasis in Mass Excavation, Underground Utility (storm, sewer, water) , Asphalt Paving and Structures.
- 4-year degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or related field of study.
- Strong people and leadership skills.
- Experience with both private and public construction.
- Must be computer literate.
- Alternative Delivery (DB, CMAR, CM/GC) experience preferred.
