Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and agreements
- Conduct legal research using tools like Westlaw to support case preparation
- Manage and organize legal files and documents
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts during the case preparation process
- Maintain communication with clients regarding case updates and progress
- Transcribe legal documents and correspondence accurately
- Draft correspondence, reports, and other legal documents
- Assist in project management tasks related to legal cases
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Paralegal or in a similar role
- Proficiency in legal case management software
- Strong knowledge of personal injury
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to conduct thorough legal research using resources like Westlaw
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
