Job Description:
As an Accounts Receivable Receptionist, you will play a key role in managing the front desk operations and assisting with accounts receivable tasks. Your responsibilities will include answering calls, greeting visitors, processing incoming payments, maintaining customer records, and working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate billing and collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Greeting clients, visitors, and vendors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Handling customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Recording and processing incoming payments (checks, credit cards, ACH, etc.).
- Reconciliation of customer accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Assisting in the preparation of accounts receivable reports.
- Ensuring accurate filing of financial documents and customer records.
- Providing general administrative support to the accounting department.
- Maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a receptionist or accounts receivable role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles is a plus.
