Architectural Designer

MTN Design is hiring an Architectural Designer to join our team in our Meridian, ID office.

Our clients appreciate our one-of-a-kind heavy timber design, our attention to detail, and our commitment to the use of sustainable, high-efficiency and high-quality materials. We are looking for an Architectural Designer with similar values, is professional, highly motivated, has good design skills, and can work face to face with clients.

Duties And Responsibilities Include

• Will work face to face with clients designing their home. Will require occasional travel to the client’s home site.
• Designers will work with the client through Schematic Design, Design Development, and the architectural portions of Construction Documents.
• Communicate with other departments and supervisors as appropriate
  
  

Skills, Knowledge And Requirements

• Bachelor of Architecture minimum
• General knowledge of the residential construction industry
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and Revit
• Ability to think and draw 3-dimensionally
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
• High level of professionalism
• Ability to set, coordinate and accomplish multiple competing priorities
• Work in a team environment with other design and construction professionals
