Driver Trainee at PFG Customized Distribution
The Driver Trainee role offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in food and service delivery while contributing to the country's food supply chain. As an entry-level position, trainees will assist experienced drivers in executing delivery routes, ensuring customer satisfaction through professional interactions and adhering to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist driver trainers in executing deliveries as required.
- Perform all required safety checks according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Permit
- Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
