We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Talent Acquisition to lead our centralized recruiting efforts across all MITER Brands locations. This individual will oversee both hourly and salaried hiring, driving best-in-class talent acquisition strategies. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, innovative thinker, and technically savvy, with a track record of success in high-volume and professional recruitment.
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals, ensuring a strong pipeline of skilled candidates.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team to deliver results across multiple locations.
Innovation & Technology: Leverage cutting-edge recruiting technologies, data analytics, and AI-driven solutions to enhance hiring processes and candidate experience.
Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with local schools, universities, trade programs, and workforce development initiatives to establish talent pipelines.
Collaboration: Partner with business leaders, HR teams, and hiring managers to forecast workforce needs and implement effective recruitment solutions.
Employer Branding: Enhance MITER Brands’ reputation as an employer of choice through targeted marketing, social media, and recruitment campaigns.
Process Optimization: Continuously refine recruitment processes to improve efficiency, quality of hires, and time-to-fill metrics.
Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and industry standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 10 years of direct talent acquisition experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing recruitment strategies for both hourly and salaried positions.
- Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment marketing, and AI-driven hiring tools.
- Exceptional ability to build relationships with community organizations, technical schools, and universities.
- Demonstrated success in driving innovation, process improvements, and workforce planning strategies.
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or high-volume recruitment environments preferred.
Compensation acumen and experience to understand the internal and external market.
- Ensure consistency, efficiency and compliance with federal, state and local laws, and company policies.
- Ensure all TA activities are compliant with the established recruiting, and selection procedures including maintaining appropriate data integrity.
