Front Desk Customer Service Representative
Location: Carmel, NY 10512
Rate: $20/hour
Position Overview:
The Front Desk Customer Service Representative is responsible for ensuring that the customer service experience and front desk processes, including registration, scheduling, and payment collection, are conducted according to the operational and financial standards. This position requires a focus on delivering excellent service to patients and visitors while adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to the following):
- Provide quality customer service to patients and visitors courteously and promptly.
- Verify and update patient account information according to Front Desk policy and procedures.
- Work closely with the Insurance Verification team
- Stay informed about the individual scheduling requirements and preferences of physicians.
- Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications and Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience, preferably in a medical practice environment.
- Knowledge of front desk operations, insurance verification, and medical scheduling is a plus.
