Summary
PCOM is seeking a dynamic, part-time Interprofessional Education (IPE) Coordinator to join our team on the Philadelphia campus. This half-time role (20 hours/week) will play a key role in supporting and coordinating IPE program activities across multiple academic programs. Working closely with the Associate Dean of Academic Integration and the Provost, the Coordinator will help foster collaboration and integration among students and faculty, contributing to the growth and success of PCOM’s interdisciplinary initiatives.
This half-time (20 hour/week) coordinator is responsible, in collaboration with the Associate Dean of Academic Integration and Provost, for general IPE program administration across numerous PCOM academic programs on the Philadelphia campus.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Coordinate and attend IPE meetings with leadership team/take notes.
- Coordinate and attend IPE meetings with student facilitators/take notes.
- Coordinate room requests and assignments with Registrar, and IPE groups.
- Facilitate Blackboard site construction for each IPE session and migrate or populate materials, as needed.
- Coordinate ordering, delivery, and reception of food for numerous IPE sessions.
- Coordinate and prepare handout materials for facilitators.
- Assist with correspondence regarding content of IPE sessions.
- Confirm speakers for IPE sessions.
- Manage student Signups for IPE and simulations, ensuring interprofessional groups and equal distributions.
- Correspondence with faculty, facilitators, speakers, and student facilitators, as needed.
- Manage ordering of supplies, as needed.
- Coordinate with CLAC office for IPE simulations.
- Coordinate with Villanova nursing IPE schedule.
- Coordinate IPE sessions with Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
- Coordinate development of IPE schedules across programs.
- Assist with IRB preparation for future studies, as needed.
- Assist with program evaluation, data reporting, and research presentations and manuscript preparation.
- Correspondence with students in the IPE sections, as needed.
- Coordinate end of year facilitators' thank you gathering and gifts.
- Other duties not otherwise specified, as necessary.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Seven years of experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum two years experience in an administrative position preferred. Experience working in higher education preferred.
- Candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to interface with faculty, staff and students.
- Must have strong student service orientation and be able to answer telephone calls and emails in a professional, courteous and effective manner.
- Must be able to work independently and have a strong sense of task ownership and sense of urgency in serving needs of students, faculty, or staff as needed.
- Must possess strong initiative and problem solving skills.
- Candidate will be able to articulate and present program information to the community.
- Must possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite.
- Must possess a professional demeanor and be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be detail oriented, have strong organizational skills, and follow through on commitments.
- Candidate must posses effective business writing skills; creative writing skills for assistance with website and other marketing content preferred .
- 20 hours per week/hybrid
- Monday – Friday (4 hour/day)
- 10:00 a.m. – 2: 00 p.m.
