Background :
Food Moxie, a longstanding organization, also known as Weavers Way Community Programs, provides agricultural and nutritional education at two community partner locations, Stenton Family Manor (Stenton) and Saul Agricultural High School, in addition to serving the NW and surrounding areas and maintaining a space at Awbury Arboretum. Food Moxie provides skills, tools and resources for people to grow, cook and eat fresh, nutritionally dense food. We work with youth and adults with the goal to not only increase knowledge, but to empower people to make positive choices regarding their health and nutrition and increase leadership opportunities for youth through agriculture. We serve as an extension of Weavers Way Co-op's mission and Ends .
The Education Coordinator ensures efficient operations related to programming and partner compliance. This important role manages our contracted instructors and the overall programming schedule for Food Moxie sites. The Education Coordinator also fosters and attends to our partner relationships at each site. This role is heavily supported through supervision and mentorship via the Executive Director.
