Our need is for creative, high-energy professionals to serve our members and guest in the very unique role of Catering Sales and Communications Coordinator.
Overview :
- The Catering Sales and Communications Coordinator will work within the Catering Operations of the Food & Beverage department. S / he will serve as an ambassador for the club and assist our Director of Catering Sales with tours and member / client services
- We are looking for someone professional who shows ownership in the future role.
- Also who works with integrity and has the inspiration to bring the operations team to the next level in conjunction with our core values.
Skills / Qualifications :
Customer service experience in a hotel or country club.Exhibits a high level of professionalism, with excellent communication skills, both oral and written.Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.Hospitality career focus is a plus, must be driven, self-motivated and dedicated.Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to Member / Guests satisfaction.Computer knowledge is a must. Microsoft, Excel, and either POS systems or catering programs, knowledge of preparing invoices and filing systems is a plus.The position is not limited to those duties listed. Duties and responsibilities can be changed, expanded, reduced, or deleted to meet the business needs of the club.Must be available to work nights, weekends, and Holidays.Key Duties / Responsibilities :
Greet all visitors, members, and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, service-oriented manner and, respond to inquiries and provide directions to correct destination.Answer the telephone in a courteous and professional manner.Take information from callers and relay messages to appropriate departments.Assist in answering basic member queries related to club operations to the best of your ability when possible.Manage and update the Club’s reservations system, including events, member information, etc.Understand all catering menu items offered and accurately answer questions about menu items in regard to the preparation method, ingredients, portion size, and side items.Understands the layout of rooms and the sales for the catering facilities.Work in conjunction with the Director of Catering Sales to organize and execute the daily operation.Conduct phone calls with catering clients and represent the Club, conduct follow-up phone calls.Promptly follows up on all customer calls and requests in an efficient and expedient manner.Works closely with other members of the operation, such as the Banquet Manager, Banquet Captains, Accounting, etc.Create various pieces of collateral using present templates and deploy as needed.Format all Club emails and send to appropriate recipients.Ensure that new events are set up correctly and deployed to the Club website and app.Take photos and update social media platforms regarding activities and events.Keep Food & Beverage informed on status of reservations.Assist in creating seating charts for large events and serve as hostess as needed.Receive mail and deliveries, sort mail, and deliver to the club’s designated recipient.Monitor member and guest access and maintain security awareness.Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of Club.Provide general administrative and clerical support by performing general office tasks to assist General Manager and other department heads.Monitor inventory relevant to reception area.Tidy and maintain the reception area, including foyer.Perform other duties as assigned.Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.Maintain high standards of professional appearance and grooming, which include wearing proper attire and name tag when working.Communication :

Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
