Great question! We’re one of Omaha, Nebraska’s best kept secrets! Phoenix Academy is a non-profit private school that was established over 30 years ago. We started with humble beginnings over in Rockbrook Village Shopping Center, and have since located to the center of the city in more robust facility that has supported our incredible growth over the years.
Our accredited K-8th school is designed for students who are behind grade level in reading and math. We provide small class sizes to provide extra attention and support to our students, and implement a strong phonics-based program to help students develop the essential skills needed for reading and writing success. In addition, our intensive math programs focus on an array of concepts from Addition through Pre-Algebra.
Phoenix Academy’s school year operates from August to May, with students attending class from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Our students come from various school districts in the metro and surrounding areas as well as small towns across Nebraska and Iowa.
