Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Part-Time IT Support Specialist to provide technical support during peak hours and assist with maintaining our IT infrastructure. This position offers flexible scheduling while delivering essential technical support to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner
- Assist with basic computer setup and software installations
- Troubleshoot common technical problems for end-users
- Help maintain documentation of technical solutions
- Support basic network and system operations
- Guide users through basic technical issues via phone, email, or in person
- Perform routine system maintenance and updates
- Assist with basic hardware/software inventory tracking
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of IT support experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
- Basic understanding of networking concepts
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- High school diploma required; IT coursework or certifications a plus
- Must be able to work independently and manage priorities effectively
