What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Manager position at Physicians Premier Emergency Room?
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build a specific outreach plan and events calendar to ensure critical community relationships stay solid and impact positive volume.
- Field marketing through community organizations and cold-calling physicians, schools, and businesses to build positive long-standing relationships through face-to-face visits, meetings, exhibits, presentations, emails, and phone calls.
- Ensures articulation of ER’s desired image and position, consistent communication of image and position throughout the ER, and communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external.
- Coordinates site marketing events and/or community event participation, captures photo opportunities, handles website copy changes, and supports social media posts in conjunction with Nurse Manager and other PPMS resources such as PPER’s Marketing Director in San Antonio for social media template post copy.
- Coordinators social media content including photos for Facebook and Instagram posts, video content, and related managing in coordination with PPER’s Marketing Director in San Antonio.
- Develop a database of key accounts to be documented and consistently updated.
- Facilitates external communication and occasionally travels to outlying facilities, when necessary, for coordination of events.
- Manages expense reports and budget
- Participates in PPER marketing meetings, typically via Teams or Zoom, and provides PULSE updates to the CEO and Nurse Manager on a weekly basis.
- Meets with the Nurse Manager every week for check-in or as requested.
- Attend other management meetings when required.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- An associate’s degree in marketing or a related field is required
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is preferred.
- 3-5 years of Marketing, Sales, or related experience
- Valid Driver’s License

- Management: 2 years (Preferred)
- ER Nursing: 5 years (Required)
License/Certification:

- Katy, TX 77494: Relocate before starting work (Required)
