We’re currently looking for an IT Specialist to handle all of our IT needs for multiple sites in Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Chino, Pomona, and Upland.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • LOCATION: Ontario, CA
  • JOB TYPE: Full-Time (40hours per week); direct hire; permanent employee
  • POSITION: Entry to mid-level
  • HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • PAY RATE: Depends on Experience ($70,000 - $90,000 per year)
  • START DATE: Immediately

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, computer management, and customer service. This role involves providing technical support, managing network systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT services for our multiple job sites. The IT Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our technology environment to support business operations effectively across all site locations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of all on-site IT systems.

Technical Support:

  • Address and resolve IT issues raised by employees.
  • Implement and maintain IT policies and procedures.
  • Server hardware management – Manage and maintain computer server hardware to maximize uptime.
  • Microsoft Hyper-V management – Ensure Virtual Server replications are successful and monitor performance.
  • Network Administration (LAN/WAN) – Network security, manages firewall, grants access to remote users or other business associates requiring connectivity, manages wireless access points, manages FTP (file transfer protocol) servers, manages websites and DNS (domain name system).
  • End-User Support – Handles all trouble tickets. May coordinate support with outside vendors if necessary.
  • Handle all Encounter Data Submissions and rejections.
  • Database and Information Systems Management.
  • EDI: Managing claim’s adjudication system (EZ-Cap for My Family Medical Group)
  • Eligibility claims and other system updates as required.
  • Reporting: Provide reports to management, business partners, health plans and Medicare.
  • Set up and configure computer equipment, install and/or repair software and/or hardware.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnoses problems, implements corrective action procedures within prescribed guidelines and/or escalates to other technical resources as appropriate.
  • Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to employees.
  • Cybersecurity protections – Managed Endpoint Detection & Response; Advanced Hacker & Ransomware Detection; Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA); Password Management; Dark Web Monitoring; Cyber Security Training; Email Phishing Tests; Zero Trust Application Control; Security Incident & Event Monitoring (SIEM) w/ 24/7 SOC Monitoring; Cyber Incident Response.

Project Management:

  • Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Coordinate with other departments to implement IT solutions that meet organizational needs.

Vendor Management:

  • Collaborate with IT vendors to procure hardware, software, and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure vendor performance meets expectations.
  • Gather quotes to review with management and purchasing once approval is received from management.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce IT security measures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Troubleshooting:

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Implement preventive measures to minimize downtime.

User Training:

  • Provide training sessions to employees on IT tools and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of IT awareness and proficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT management roles.
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL & MySQL required.
  • Strong background in system administration, network management, and project management.
  • Proficiency in managing Windows/Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and security measures.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential problems.
