What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Coordinator position at Piedmont Community Services?
This position is responsible for coordinating the CHILL Youth Task Force and implementing strategies that support youth leadership and development. This position will oversee CHILL and youth related activities, trainings, and events, while working with coalition leaders, and connecting with partners to assure that funding goals are reached. This is a contract position that primarily serves youth in Henry County and Martinsville City, with support to the CHILL programs in Franklin and Patrick Counties as needed. Should have demonstrated knowledge of youth development and substance use prevention strategies, and demonstrated skills in organization, communication, project management and implementation.
Position requires a flexible schedule to accommodate evening meetings and project activities outside of regular business hours.
