In this role you will provide general administrative and customer service support as part of the Planning and Public Works Maintenance & Operations Administrative team. This is a vital role supporting a large division with high volume transactions, complex data, and high-quality customer service.

How to be Successful in the Role:
Your knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite programs, attention to detail, dedicated administrative support, and ability to provide high quality customer service will be used on a daily basis in this role. You will work with both internal and external customers and provide administrative support in areas such as public records requests, data entry and reporting, training coordination, program coordination, and commission support. Your positive energy, ability to master assigned subject matter, communicate well with Supervisors and Managers, ability to deliver high quality work products, and meet deadlines will ensure your success with the team.

Core Daily Responsibilities:
- Coordinate related office functions; assist in procedure development; perform duties of a highly confidential nature; may conduct research activities.
- Manage and maintain logs, charts, spreadsheets, related data, and files related to the division.
- Receive and process forms and applications.
- Examine and evaluate data
- Coordinate/Support personnel functions
- Provide high quality and timely customer service to both internal and external customers
- Prepare and review complex reports, forms, and other records prepared by others for clarity, completeness, accuracy and conformance with standard policies and procedures.
- Take dictation and meeting minutes and transcribe dictated material.
- Attend management and team meetings.
- Use considerable initiative and judgment in interpreting guidelines.
- Maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance during regularly scheduled work hours at assigned worksite.
- Meet travel requirements of the position.
- Perform the physical requirements of the position; work within the established working conditions of the position; work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Perform other job functions as assigned.

- Two or more years of progressively responsible clerical experience or administrative program support work.
- Additional education and experience may substitute for the required experience to a maximum of one year.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High level of Microsoft Office Suite program knowledge and use of advanced features.
- Strong desire to deliver high quality administrative support and meet deadlines with a strong document development and review aptitude.
- Ability to support the division during high volume workload seasons and/or emergency/weather events with 24/7 coverage (mandatory Overtime, extended shifts, alternate work schedules, weekends, evenings, holidays).
