We are seeking a skilled Grader to join our team at Pierce Excavation. Responsibilities
- Operate grading equipment to achieve accurate site levels and contours.
- Perform regular maintenance checks on grading machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to understand project requirements.
- Monitor site conditions and adjust grading techniques as necessary for safety and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including measurements and adjustments made.
- Assist with the setup of job sites, including the placement of safety barriers and signage.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during operations.
- Must be able to read plans, blue stakes, run blade, be self managed, and reliable.

Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment, particularly graders, in a construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction site operations and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required.
- Experience with dump trucks, loaders, or bulldozers is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
