JOB TITLE: System Analyst
DEPARTMENT: Engineering & Software Development
REPORTS TO: Director - Engineering
SYSTEM ANALYST SUMMARY: Responsible for liaising between end-users, department leaders, and developers for a proprietary internal web-based application, acting as the system administrator of the application and supporting company leadership with application reporting .
SYSTEM ANALYST DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To become very knowledgeable in the business processes supported by the application.
- To become an expert in the application's capabilities, workflow, and functionality.
- Serve as the primary system administrator of the application, provisioning user accounts, configuring system settings, responding to end-user questions, and conducting training.
- Support management by developing and running reports to show business data processed within the application.
- Develop and maintain application documentation.
- Maintains open and accurate communication with customers, supervisors, and peers.
- Follows safety policies for safe work.
- Provides support to other team members and staff as needed.
- Safely operates company-provided equipment and vehicles and follows all local laws, regulations, and ordinances.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Clocks in and out for activities throughout the day in Pierson Wireless’ project management cloud solution.

SYSTEM ANALYST QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from a college or university, two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A strong intuition of software workflows and navigation within web-based applications.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Knowledge of software development tools and relational databases.
- Functional knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and common development frameworks.
- Functional knowledge of SQL and interacting with a Microsoft SQL server.
- Advanced knowledge of office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Suite tools.
- Certificates, licenses and registrations required:
- Valid driver’s license required.
