What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Office Receptionist position at Pierz Veterinary Clinic?
Multi-tasking is a must! Must have strong computer, social media skills and good spelling. Great attention to detail required of this position.
Looking for a friendly, organized and hard-working individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and likes to be responsible for many duties. Loving animals is a small part of the day, but you must be a team player and like people too! Be prepared to learn a lot in a short amount of time.
Duties include answering up to 3 phone lines, answering emails, maintaining Facebook messages, helping keep track of our app appointment requests, and scheduling appointments for 2 doctors. Also, checking in and out daily appointments, calling to remind future appointments, and sending postcards for services due.
Other duties will include managing laboratory tests sent out and distributing results, managing special orders and ensuring timely pick-ups, accounts receivable and keeping statistics on client data.
At least one year of experience scheduling appointments in a multiple provider office required.
Two or four-year degree in business or medical field preferred.
Shifts: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm and every other Saturday morning 8 to noon. Weekend shift means half day off during the week.
