Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the shipping and receiving processes, and assisting the Shipping Team in the day-to-day operations of the department.
Responsibilities
- Generate customer orders using the ERP system (SAP)
- Prepare shipments by pulling, assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling finished product.
- Verify items and prepare final checklist paperwork.
- Ship completed sales orders, repairs and rentals both domestically and internationally.
- Use ERP software to process and track domestic, express, and freight shipments.
- Prepare, process and distribute paperwork as required and maintain as records. Follow safety rules and regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience/Education Requirements
- Basic computer literacy and navigation is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- 2 years of shipping domestic and international packages
- Knowledge of UPS, FedEx and DHL systems is preferred.
- 1 years of using an inventory management system / ERP is preferred.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be flexible, organized and have the ability to multi-task.
- Must take and pass forklift certification class.
- 1 years of operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and lift trucks is a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
Physical Requirements
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
- Requires extended periods of standing, walking, sitting, and heavy lifting.
- Normal or corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Level of Supervision
This position reports directly to the Logistics Manager.
Hours/Schedule
8:30am – 5:00pm EST
Monday through Friday
