Job Title: Beer and Wine Sales Associate
Location: Coeur d'Alene
About the Position:
We are seeking a Beer and Wine Sales Associate to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting customers in curating and locating their ideal product selections, answering questions, and taking special orders. You will also manage product displays, receive and process orders, and maintain a clean and organized department. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with product selection and answering questions
- Take and process special orders from customers
- Stock and face product displays to ensure product availability and visual appeal
- Receive and process product shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely stocking
- Maintain cleanliness in the department, including sweeping, dusting, and removing trash
- Operate store equipment such as phones, intercom systems, bailers, box knives, and calculators safely and efficiently
Essential Requirements:
- Interest, passion, or knowledge of beer and/or wine
- Previous experience in beer and wine sales preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Flexible availability to meet scheduling needs
- Willingness to continuously learn about products, store policies, and industry trends
- Must be at least 21 years of age (required to taste and serve alcohol)
- Strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to stand for long periods of time during your shift
- Vision corrected to 20/20
- Willingness to receive and provide constructive feedback for personal and team growth
