We are looking for an IT Support Coordinator with a strong sense of efficiency and self-management skills to join our organization. This is an opportunity to establish working relationships with our external vendors and consultants, while contributing to the overall efficiency of our day-to-day operations.
Job Duties:
- Escalate and coordinate onsite maintenance, installation, or troubleshooting service with our external IT Consultants
- Maintain Pinelawn's hardware inventory, including but not limited to tablets, desktops, laptops, cellphones and other peripheral devices, while cleaning and preserving the integrity of the hardware in stock, keeping it in good working condition at all times
- Arrange hardware and software setup for our new hires, including but not limited to creation of email accounts, access to department drives, installation of apps and software, account creation for any relevant systems, as well as hardware configuration
- Coordinate deactivation of access and systems for departing employees, ensuring that access is removed in a timely manner, preventing any risks to the integrity of Pinelawn's systems and databases
- Manage access to security alarm system, as well as act as System Administrator for any other systems as required
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
5 years of practical experience in IT Service Support and Service Delivery in large heterogeneous enterprise level IT organization
Solid understanding of business processes and business dependencies on supported technologies
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering
- 3 years of practical experience in IT Support within a small to midsize organization
- Strong ability to prioritize requests, remain organized at all times, while providing exceptional service to all employees
- Must be able to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders throughout the organization, via phone and email, in timely and efficient manner
- Experience implementing or using an IT Support request system is a plus.
