Position Summary – Accounting Assistant
The accounting assistant role is intended to support the accounting team with data entry, accounting, and general office work. You will support the accounting team with mail processing, accounts payable, invoice processing, vendor payments, billing, record keeping, general accounting, property management support, and other administrative tasks.
Things You Will Do
· Data entry and recordkeeping.
· Daily processing of invoices and billing.
· Other tasks assigned by members of the accounting department.
· Assisting the accounting and property management department with billing, invoices, data entry, and filing, etc.
· Assist with other office administration-related tasks.
Skills We Look For
· Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Office 365, and Sage Accounting or other similar accounting data entry software.
· Strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time efficiently.
· Well organized and detail-oriented.
· Someone who takes personal ownership over the success of the task assigned to them.
· A positive and friendly attitude.
Job Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED
· Associate's Degree Preferred
· Two (2) years of experience in Data Entry and/or Accounting Work
· A valid Driver’s License.
